This tensioner kit is used to replace the standard hydraulic timing chain tensioner

A must for forged and high horse power engines where standard tensioners can cause chain slap, crack the housing and cause total engine failure.

Oil pressure is not required to run this kit, it is manually adjusted to the correct chain slack, this can help to increase reliability and reduce wear.

Our kit includes everything required to replace the orignal part (new gasket optional)
